Last weekend I had an imaginary trip to Black River. Forty five minutes away from Medellin, Colombia, there is this small town called Rionegro, where its people live very happy, are always friendly and welcoming.

The town is surrounded by the purest green hills you ever imagined and divided in two by the Valley of Llanogrande and the Valley of San Nicolas. Rionegro (Blackriver) is without a doubt one of the most inspirational places I have ever been to. I remember me and my friends going to the “Fincas” to play guitar and drink aguardiente and I am also sure there are other musicians out there feeling the same way I do. I have recorded this small track called “Rio Negro” inspired by my trip. I hope you enjoy it.Â
I know the place. It’s a place to be inspired and dream.The song took me there on the first note. It made me remember the trip to get there which it was my favorite part. Seeing the mountains through the window.
Keep the inspiration going and travelling to more places.
